NEW YORK, NY — July 1, 2026 — Docutrend is pleased to announce that effective June 30, 2026, T.A. Mountford has merged into its operations. As part of the agreement, Docutrend will now be providing all service and supplies for T.A. Mountford’s clients for their office equipment.
Founded 47 years ago and run by the Mountford family across two generations, T.A. Mountford built its reputation on personal, local service. Clients could pick up the phone and reach someone who knew them and their equipment by name. After meeting with several companies, Tom Mountford selected Docutrend because it shared that same commitment to service and had the people and resources to carry the company’s legacy forward.
For T.A. Mountford’s clients, the day to day stays familiar. The same technical staff will be joining Docutrend and continuing to support them, so the people caring for their machines are the same people they already know and trust. Tom Mountford will remain active through the transition to help make the change as smooth as possible. All maintenance agreements, equipment, leases and supplies will now be fulfilled by Docutrend’s seasoned staff, and clients will not experience any interruption in service.
Docutrend, founded in 2002, helps businesses control their printing and document costs through innovative hardware and software solutions. It is an authorized Kyocera, Canon, HP, Brother and KIP dealer with more than 55 professionals and locations across New York City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Beyond copiers and printers, Docutrend also provides business phone systems, managed IT and security, digital displays and interactive whiteboards, giving T.A. Mountford clients access to a broader range of support whenever they need it. Going forward, all billing will come from Docutrend.
