Lake Forest, IL – November 1, 2018 – Impact, a leading managed service provider, announced today that effective immediately, Mark Sengstock will be promoted to Director of Enterprise Solutions. This promotion is the first push in establishing Impact’s new Enterprise Solutions department that will be fully operational by January 2019, offering Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions to the SMB market.
In the past three years, Impact’s business has grown significantly in the Managed IT, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), and Business Process Automation (BPA) segments. To better serve customers and help them achieve full digital maturity, Impact has invested in the development of an Enterprise Solutions department. Frank DeGeorge, Impact Chief Technology Officer, tapped Mark Sengstock to lead the team and set up the new department that will offer ERP solutions. Sengstock joined Impact in 2015 as a Strategic Services Branch Manager, bringing 20 years of experience in ERP migration and implementation. In his new role, Sengstock will build out the department and a full team, starting with developers and functional consultants, and will have operations running by the beginning of next year. As a new department, the Enterprise Solutions team will bridge the gap between Impact’s Strategic Services and Managed IT teams, with cross-collaboration of both departments for the customer’s benefit.
“Mark was the perfect choice to lead this division that will focus on the sales and support of ERP solutions for Impact clients,” said Impact CTO, Frank DeGeorge. “This new department will allow Impact to offer enterprise-level ERP technology at a price point that fits the SMB market.”
Impact will begin by partnering with Microsoft Dynamics 365, specifically the Business Central suite, a software solution that empowers clients to effectively manage core business processes like purchasing, inventory management, sales and more. As a natural complement to Impact’s existing suite of intelligent process automation and Managed IT offerings, the new division will extend Impact’s role as a one-source provider of business solutions. This new department will also allow Impact to serve more customers whose existing software does not yet integrate with Impact’s current suite of process improvement methodologies and technology, and strengthen the overall selling package without replacing any current solutions.
“I’m very excited to take on the challenge of building out Impact’s new Enterprise Solutions department. Impact’s digital evolution in the industry has been incredibly successful, and these new offerings will only better serve our customers,” said Impact Director of Enterprise Solutions, Mark Sengstock. “ERP solutions have come a long way in the last 20 years and our SMB clients are going to be pleasantly surprised with the tools we can offer them now.”
