On April 3, HP announced it is ready to begin taking orders worldwide on its much-anticipated A3 LaserJet devices. Twelve of the LaserJet portfolio platforms are ready for shipping. Shipments and availability will depend on country and location, building across the globe through April and May.
The PageWide Pro A3 portfolio will begin shipping May 15, with PageWide Enterprise A3 devices shipping in the fall. Demo and evaluation units have begun to arrive at partners over the last two weeks.
“Today is a very exciting day for us — today we’re open for business,” said HP’s David Laing, vice president, A3 and Contractual Future Products and Services Marketing for A3.
