(Cedar Rapids, Iowa) — GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation and Collabrance LLC have opened registration for a new virtual sales and marketing event, GreatAmerica University Smarketing: Preparing for Your Digital Transformation. The training is presented by a robust lineup of sales and marketing experts including keynote Zach Basner with IMPACT Brand who will deliver ‘The Digital Consumer’ as well as ‘The Selling 7 Video Workshop’ and Marcus Sheridan, Marcus Sheridan International, who will deliver a concluding message on day two.
Attendees will learn how to bridge the gap between sales and marketing to better compete and enable sales success in this ever growing virtual economy. Within the first few weeks of the pandemic in the U.S., internet traffic increased almost 70%, according to a Forbes.com article. This has created a sense of urgency for many business leaders around their online presence and related sales and marketing strategies.
“We want solution providers to gain the clarity and confidence they need to take their sales and marketing efforts to a whole new level,” states David Pohlman, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, GreatAmerica Financial Services. “This event provides attendees with the framework to build shorter sales cycles, improve revenue generation and encourage collaboration between sales and marketing teams.”
During the two half-days of online training, solution providers will learn how to:
- Attract warmer leads and drive more sales through sales and marketing alignment
- Create a shared sales and marketing strategy
- Track ROI more effectively
- Generate the right content at the right time, shortening sales cycles
- Provide a more cohesive customer experience
GreatAmerica hosted the first GreatAmerica University Smarketing event in October 2019 at its corporate headquarters. Tickets for the virtual event are $39 per seat and a Company Pass is also available, however seats are limited. Collabrance LLC, the GreatAmerica Master Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), announced a free online event focused on best practices for technology providers to grow their IT business with cybersecurity.
MSSP Accelerator will feature different cybersecurity industry thought leaders from: CharTec, Pax8, ID Agent, SolarWindsFortinet, Datto, PathShare HR Services, and GreatAmerica.
“We are all collectively excited to share cybersecurity best practices with technology providers who want to lead the way as a MSSP,” shares Corey Kerns, Vice President & General Manager of Collabrance. “Our goal for MSSP Accelerator is to help educate the IT Channel on how they can better position themselves as a cybersecurity expert, enhance their IT offering to meet the growing needs of customers, and effective ways to capture more opportunities to scale their future.”

“The demand for MSPs to stay ahead of the evolving cybersecurity landscape is exponentially increasing in tandem with the customer’s risk. Adding some IT security components to your technology stack doesn’t automatically make solution providers an MSSP. We went through this journey ourselves and understand it is a process, not a flip of a switch to provide a strong competitive offering and exceptional service experience and protection customers deserve,” explains Kerns.
MSSP Accelerator is designed to educate progressive technology providers how they can capture more opportunities with cybersecurity. MSSPs are able to differentiate, scale faster, gain larger MRR customers and in turn increase their business valuation for a successful future. To reserve your seat for MSSP Accelerator on October 7th, register at www.collabrance.com/mssp-accelerator.
