The HP Officejet 100 takes the top spot with the lowest TCO of $1,066.63, followed by the Canon PIXMA iP110 with a TCO of $1,113.69, and the Epson WorkForce WF-100with a TCO of $1,459.62.
The HP Officejet 100 maintains the lowest TCO at AMPV’s above 100 and at any length of ownership. In printing environments at or lower than those parameters the Canon PIXMA iP110 has the lowest TCO.
The Epson WorkForce WF-100 and the Canon PIXMA iP110 were both released this year (November and September, respectively) while the HP Officejet 100 was released in March 2011. Only the Epson WorkForce WF-100 has network or Wi-Fi connectivity. The HP Officejet 100 is the only product to offer Bluetooth connectivity. All of the products compared are Energy Star compliant.
The Epson WorkForce WF-100 is the smallest product compared with a footprint area of 74.4 inches weighing 3.5 pounds. The Canon PIXMA iP110 has a footprint area of weighing 4.3 pounds and the HP Officejet 100 has the largest footprint area (83.2 inches) and weight (5.1 pounds).
The small size of Epson WorkForce WF-100 gives it the lowest maximum paper capacity of the comparison with 20 pages, whereas the larger Canon PIXMA iP110 and HP Officejet 100 both have maximum paper capacities of 50 pages.
The HP Officejet 100 has the lowest CPP and highest consumable replacement yields of the products compared.
