• The HP PageWide Pro MFP 477dw is the winning product with the lowest TCO of $7,784.48, followed by the Ricoh SP C252SF with a TCO of $8,450.69, Canon imageCLASS MF820Cdn ($11,783.31), and the Xerox VersaLink C405DN ($14,161.22).
• The Xerox VersaLink C405DN  is the newest device in the comparison launching in February 2017, followed by the HP PageWide Pro MFP 477dw (March 2016), Canon imageCLASS MF820Cdn (January 2015) and Ricoh SP C252SF (April 2014).
• All devices in the comparison are Energy Star compliant.
• The HP PageWide Pro MFP 477dw is the only inkjet device in the comparison and has the fastest color print speed at 40 ppm, followed by the Canon imageCLASS MF820Cdn and Xerox VersaLink C405DN at 36ppm and the Ricoh SP C252SF at 21ppm
• Xerox VersaLink C405DN is the newest device in the comparison and the only device to offer USB type 3 connectivity. The HP PageWide Pro MFP 477dw, Ricoh SP C252SF, and Canon imageCLASS MF820Cdn all offer USB type 2 connectivity.
• All of the devices compared offer Network and Wi-Fi connectivity. The HP PageWide Pro MFP 477dw, Canon imageCLASS MF820Cdn and Xerox VersaLink C405DN offer USB Direct Print. The Canon imageCLASS MF820Cdn is the only device to offer Gigabet Ethernet connectivity.
