Epson Unveils Revolutionary Replaceable Ink Pack System Enabling Hassle Free Business Printing

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Jan. 20, 2015 – Epson America, Inc., a leading provider of business imaging solutions, today announced the Replaceable Ink Pack System – an entirely new way for workgroups and SMB offices to approach color printing. Utilizing this unique design, Epson’s new WorkForce Pro WF-R8590 and WF-R5690 multi-function printers and WF-R5190 printer deliver up to 75,000 printed pages in both black and color before the ink needs to be replaced. These printing solutions allow customers to print high impact color documents with low operating costs and invention rates.

“Epson’s revolutionary approach transforms office printing by allowing businesses to focus on running their business, not on managing printer supplies,” said Larry Trevarthen, director, Business Imaging, Epson America, Inc. “Epson’s new printing solutions allow IT managers to bring affordable color printing to remote offices and workgroups while reducing the hassles normally associated with printer management.”

The WorkForce Pro WF-R5690 multi-function printer and WF-R5190 printer deliver print speeds up to 20 ISO ppm (black and color) , a 580-sheet capacity, and also includes the ink to print up to 50,000 before requiring replacement.
