BPO Media had the pleasure of attending EFI’s Connect show again this year, and it did not leave us wanting. Now going into its 19th year, EFI Connect attracts print professionals worldwide for a collection of in-depth, informative training and education on key management and tech challenges for printing and packaging companies.
Digital industrial transformation was a major theme at the show and in his keynote, EFI CEO Guy Gecht walked us through the technology transforming our world and ways Efi has been innovating. There was also an excellent customer success panel hosted by Frank Mallozzi that gave great insight into the challenges and also opportunities print executives are experiencing globally. There were more than 200 sessions offered overall, covering technical, business management, marketing and more for an audience of commercial print, signage and graphics, packaging and in-plant production executives from 23 countries. There was simply not enough time!
But it wasn’t all about EFI – several partners, including Ricoh, Xerox, Konica Minolta and RISO showcased print engines running EFI Fiery digital front ends and additional partners included 3M, Duplo, Enfocus, Esko, Kodak, Print ReLeaf, X-Rite Pantone and Xeikon.
