June 8 — DEX Imaging, Inc., the largest independent dealer of document imaging technology in the United States, is pleased to announce its acquisition of 10 Konica Minolta Direct Dealer Operations (KMBS), effective immediately. These branch operations are located in the following U.S. cities: Raleigh, NC, Greensboro, NC, Charleston, SC, Greenville, SC, Corpus Christi, TX, Longview, TX, Shreveport, LA, Mobile, AL, Pensacola, FL, and Tallahassee, FL.

The addition of these 10 KMBS branch operations brings with it a workforce of 65 industry veterans, delivering a seamless expansion that perfectly aligns with DEX’s existing go-to-market strategy.

DEX Imaging’s CEO, Dan Doyle Jr., said, “DEX imaging is KMBS’s largest dealer in the United States. We have been partners for nearly two decades, and it is a great honor that they have entrusted us to carry forward their original mission of providing quality service to their customers on the local level. The addition of these KMBS operations boosts DEX Imaging’s existing manpower in areas where we already do business, while expanding our reach into new areas where we have not previously done business.

DEX Imaging is a wholly owned subsidiary of Staples, with annual revenues exceeding $350 Million.
