Prosperity Plus Management Consulting, Inc. today announced that it advised Darrell Campbell of Campbell Business Machines in its sale to Central Business Systems.
Headquartered in Belle, WV, Campbell Business Machines (CBM) is a long-standing mailing and shipping systems dealership. The company has served West Virginia, as well as the counties in Kentucky and Ohio that border West Virginia, for 43 years. It sells and services products from Neopost, MBM, Martin Yale, Destroyit and others.
For more than 70 years, Central Business Systems, Inc. has been providing technology services to Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia businesses. It is the regional leader in total technology solutions. CBS is the best at helping customers save money on IT, printing and mailing costs while improving office processes to streamline productivity along the way.
Specific terms behind the acquisition were not disclosed. However Frank Shoaf, President of Central Business Systems, said all CBM customers and most of its employees will transition to CBS. Shoaf went on to say, “Our goal is to make this a smooth transition. Darrell and his team built a great business. We will take good care of the employees and customers as Darrell moves into retirement. We are excited to bring additional product and service offerings to the customers of Campbell Business Machines.”
Darrell Campbell said of the transaction, “I am happy to be able to pass the torch on to Frank and his team. I know they will make the future for all involved a bright one.”
