Nuance Introduces eCopy Legal Solution Pack

Nuance Communications, Inc., a provider of speech and imaging solutions, announced the eCopy Legal Solution Pack, a document scanning and workflow solution that enables law firms to automate their paper-to-digital workflows. The results are fast, accurate and economical privilege reviews and document production as well as increased compliance with matter-centric document management policies.
An add-on to the market-leading Nuance eCopy ShareScan Suite, the eCopy Legal Solution Pack is the fastest way for law firms to utilize their multifunction printers (MFPs) to automate the preparation of paper documents for electronic discovery, e-filing and firm-wide knowledge management.
The eCopy Legal Solution Pack includes:
- Batch Scanning for e-Discovery, e-Filling & Litigation Support: Using barcode cover sheets, convert batches of documents to PDF and automatically name, index, Bates number and organize into logical folder structures.
- Scan and Redact: Apply redactions as documents are scanned and sent to users’ desktops.
- Connect to Matter-Centric DMS: Convert paper documents to logically named, searchable PDF files and store in client/matter folders in one of the following supported document management systems: Autonomy iManage, OpenText eDOCS DM, OpenText LiveLink, Microsoft SharePoint or EMC Documentum.
- Document Workflow Assessment: A customized report that identifies specific areas where the law firm can further optimize their document processes.
