At an AMPV of 1,000 and length of ownership of 3 years:
- Samsung’s CLX 6220fx just dropped to $599 this week.
- Ricoh’s Aficio SP C242SF is the winning printer with a low TCO of $2,644, followed in order by Samsung’s CLX 6220fx ($2,668); Canon’s imageCLASS MF8380CDW ($3,376); and lastly Xerox’ WorkCentre 6015/NI ($4,292).
- At 1-, 2- and 3-year lengths of ownership, the Ricoh and Samsung printers have very similar TCOs; however, as the length of ownership is extended, the Ricoh printer’s TCO is significantly lower than all three competing printers.
- Canon’s MF8380CDW and Xerox’ WorkCentre 6015/NI maintain their position as the 3rd and 4th lowest TCOs, respectively, no matter the length of ownership or AMPV.
